I've no more space on my step ladder setup. If I want to add plants to my indoor garden it will have to be in the "bad luck" area of the ladder. Not ideal but still gets some good sun. Once that is gone then I will have to create a hanging setup of some sort. I want to take down the curtains and shades since they're pointless now but I want to wait until I rearrange my room for Phase 4 of the herb harden. I'll just have to take things one at a time.
I've added a cup with broccoli but only until I can plant it outside because broccoli grows large and is a heavy feeder. This broccoli came from a thick stem from a bunch of store-bought broccoli that had leaves on it. I left it in water and roots came out and while the original thick stem rotted, I was able to take this new stem off and get it to root in some water. Its leaves were starting to yellow and it roots were getting covered in algae from sitting in the water too long. Hopefully it is not too late and it recovers, so that I can use that spot for kale. Not part of my herb garden but still on my list of seeds to plant are cilantro (possible addition to herb garden), tobacco, chia seeds, and carrots. I'm going to try to sell any tobacco that I grow to my friend and the carrots I want to grow so that I can see if I can use them to make my rat orange (at the very least her hands and feet might turn orange). Stay tuned to see how many containers 1 rubber tire can make!
