Israeli Solder near the top of Mount Hermon. May God bless each one of them.
From the top of the Cable Car you can walk about 400 m further up and you come to an Israeli Army Post where they don't allow you to go on.
We so much wanted to get to the top and asked if we could go through - but were declined. We found a quite spot and read about the wonderful events which occurred up here at the Transfiguration of Jesus.
We started to walk back down to the Cable Car when the solders called us back.
They said that a tour group was coming up soon and that they had a permit to go further up. We could wait around and walk up with the tour group. This we did, and were most grateful for this opportunity. The tour group was in Hebrew so we did not understand what the Tour Guide was saying. At the top we could look down into Syria and down into Israel. This spot is called "The Eye of Israel". On a clear day you can see all the way down to the Sea of Galilee.
Standing at the Highest Point that we could go on Mount Hermon.
View into Israel from the Highest point we could go on Mount Hermon.
View into Syria from the Highest point we could go on Mount Hermon.
What beautiful photos, of your journey And people you meet on it, thanks for sharing.

You know they are killing Palestinians without any reason? Including children?
