You can say that again. Thank goodness he was there for that little guy. Situations like this is why I carry pepper spray now. I got tired of pit bulls running down on me and my dog(s) over the years, the mail man told me to go buy the spray they have on the market that will bring down a bear. I went online to research it and found some Cabela's sell that people who ride bikes who've gotten attacked by pit bulls says it stops them in their tracks. I carry it every time I walk my dog and have pulled it out twice now though both incidences I didn't end up using it...one they were not pits but in one instance I warned the owner to leash his dog or face getting sprayed and the other it wasn't necessary but in both instances it worked better to put the owners back in line then the dogs. This guy deserves an award for that heroic act.
