HF20 - Are you kidding me, steemit?

It´s time to say good bye

Happy surprise after my vacation

I was on holiday for 2 weeks without internet connection. It was very relaxing and I sat down full of joy after my return to the PC. Yesterday I tried to write a comment. It didn't work. Today I took a screenshot. VP and the new RC are at 100%.

I lose over 40% of my VP after a vote with 34 SP!?
What should the completely new members with 15 SP base VP do now?

Comment once a day and then wait 24 hours?
Vote once a day and wait 60 hours?

Really?

That's your way of attracting new members, @ned?

Or would you rather ask the 21 pyramid heads?

Does anyone in the world think I or anyone else needs another social network where I have to invest hundreds of dollars to write more, like one or two comments a day?

Here's my answer:

N O P E

I hope I can publish this article at all without having to wait 2 days.
Now I'll do what a lot of people do. I initiate the powerdown and let Steemit be Steemit.

There are millions of other attractive ways to "waste your time". I don't have to pay extra for that.

I wish everyone here a lot of fun in the future.

EDIT: RC Status after I published this article.

I hope I can at least edit the article without having to wait 2 days.

I'm not the Steemit expert, but as I heard, this strange behavior is only the first vote after the HF20. The next votes should behave as always.

Hi @flowerfairy,

Steemit is messed after the hardfork on Tuesday, They say it will take 5 days for it to normalize. Not a lot of people are active now, because they are waiting for the platform to stabilize.

A number of people are testing out WeKu, a Steemit clone. Sign up is easy, The start you off with 100 WP (not a delegation). I included a link for you to sign up with. They give some type of referral bonus. I don't know exactly what it is.

I hope to see over there.
