Ok, this hardfork is coming. 28 of the top 30 witnesses are supporting this fork. Unless something very bizarre happens this fork will get enacted at 11am.
The only real concern that I have about today is that while hardforking the chain forks. Do I think it's likely? No. Do I think it's a possibility above 1%? Yes. I'm estimating it at 5%. We've been steady for a while, but if and when things break it's a higher chance on hardfork day.
So what to do?
If you have large steem transactions you want to get done today I strongly suggest doing them in the next 3 hours. If you miss that window and want to do something big anyway I suggest you wait a few hours after the hardfork has settled, and do a few test payments first.
We might get an all clear very early. We might get an all clear and the chain forks later. Again, I'm not expecting anything bad to happen today. I'm merely suggesting that hardfork day isn't the best day to move a shit ton of steem around.
It's also a possibility that some of the exchanges aren't caught up. So, we might get some maintenance modes. Hopefully, that too will go smoothly. But we'll know for sure in a few hours.
Anyway, #newsteem starts today. Hopefully it's a gentle start.

LOl hf20 has its own account? and it delegates to ppl to fix the mistake? LOl i do like the feeling of manual fixes for an automated system, like how we could copy eos face id system with just TASK :) PPl Power bruv , i dont like no techmology

I am still a HF21 doubter. If we don't see the purported manual curation over the next few months that this hardfork was meant to encourage I doubt we will see any more onboarding.
