I am really hoping we don't. We are well aware of what happened last time, but the test net was not a true test net to be able to fully test every scenario.

In the case the testnet for hard-fork 21 is not the same code as the one which would be deployed to mainnet, then all witnesses should not approve it.
However, I think they already approved it, even before the code was finally made public.

No, I am referring to under HF20 there were changes made to make testing easier. So it wasn't a real mirror of the production system.

Public Testnet run by Steemit is currently 17 hours in the past, I'm waiting for it to catch up.
I was already testing SPS part for some time on a public Blocktrades Testnet 3 months ago.
A lot of work is still ahead of us.
