Propagation of swamp hibiscus

My today's theme is the propagation of the swamp hibiscus native to Europe.

In the garden in late fall, late November, I discovered that the withered flower pods had opened, probably due to frost, and the seeds had become visible.
In my garden, you will find pink, purple, and white varieties that reproduce year after year with the help of seeds and wind.
I have about 70-80 hibiscus bushes.
I love hibiscus, I wish my whole garden was full of this plant.
Hibiscus blooms all summer from July to the first frosts.

Today I picked seeds from all three colored hibiscus plants and planted them in a place in the garden where there is no hibiscus bush yet.
In summer it will be a wonderful ornament for my garden.
I love it when they flaunt three different colors.

Step 1: Remove the seeds from the seedhouse.

Step 2: Dig a small hole, it doesn’t have to be deep, max 10cm, and I’ll put the seeds in.

Step 3: I put the dug earth on the seeds.

Step 4: Cover with chopped leaves and mark with a small glass cup or chopsticks so I know next year where the new plant will grow.

This is how I propagate hibiscus every year, the rest is done by mother nature.

In the last photos, you can see my hibiscus flowers of different colors in summer time.

I am very proud of my beautiful, healthy, hibiscus plants.
My phone gallery is full of photos of them. 🌺

Is there a more beautiful sight?
