I often write about success and how to deal with challenges in life. Today I would like to quote Norman Cousins who said something very interesting about forgiveness. We often speak of life as an adventure, and that we need to take risks and chances in order to experience the beauties and opportunities life brings along.
But, have you ever thought about life as an adventure in forgiveness? Probably not!
Life is an adventure in forgiveness. (Norman Cousins)
What is this all about? First of all, an adventure means that you are living it and that it will give you something. The truth is, your life is meant to be an adventure, full of experiences and exciting things going on. But, if you want that to happen, you need to accept the adventure of forgiveness as well. What do I mean? I am not sure if I think of the same as Norman Cousins, but I believe that you will be robbed in life from all those amazing adventures unless you learn to live the adventure of forgiveness.
If you don't forgive, then you will be poor, and you will miss out on opportunities and exciting adventures.
If you forgive, you will not live in the past and lick those wounds. Instead, you will heal and be ready to experience the adventures life wants to bring along!
