I took this photo in August of 2014. Lake Cleveland is a very popular camping destination in the late summer. I've never experienced the lake without other campers and hikers around so it was weird being the only ones there on this beautiful fall day this past weekend.

Recent snowfall held it's ground on the South side of the lake. While the opposite shore was warm enough in the sun to dip your feet into the water!

Typical adventure shenanigans!

While walking the 1 mile loop around the lake, my friend and I snapped a shot with the reflective water and beautiful blue sky.

Can anyone spot my dog, Max? Also notice those dead trees to the left, well that is what the first image is focused on back in 2014.

Lake Cleveland has been the source of plenty of fun camping memories, but I thoroughly enjoyed the isolation of having the lake to ourselves over this beautiful Fall weekend. The road is blocked off to drive down into the lake for most of the year, but the three of us didn't mind the extra mile walk.

What are some of your favorite camping spots or go to hikes?
