Talikodgenic Problems

"Talikodgenic" is a terminology coined from the word "photogenic", they just replaced the word "photo" with the Filipino word "talikod" ("back" in english). So if someone tells you that you are "talikodgenic", it simply means that you are only bautiful in your back shot.

I humbly consider myself as "talikodgenic". Yeh! Everytime I got a picture on mountain view points, I always do my signature talikod pose (back shot). Surprisingly, I always get a lot of facebook likes on my back shots more than my front shots or selfies. This proves that I'm a certified "Talikodgenic".

But I do have a lot of strugles in getting a good back shot. Here are some:

  1. Camera Control

Unlike selfies, you do not have the complete control of the camera. In selfies you can freely get the right angle, exposure, and focus that you want since you are the one who is holding the camera. Bacause I am also a photographer, I am somehow meticulous when it comes to the angle, exposure, focus and other elements. That is why it took a lot of takes and explanations before I feel contented on my photo.

  1. Photobomers

I cannot see my back, so I cannot see those people intentionally or unintentionally photoboming on my picture. That picture above explains everything, I don't want to say anythingelse.

  1. Not Getting the Right Angle, Focus, and Exposure at All

This is the most annoying thing on a back shot, that after a lot of takes and explanations you ended up not getting the shot that you want. Anyway, there is a remedy... editing.

This is just some of my "Talikodgenic" problems that I want to share. Thank you for reading! :)
