Bryce Canyon Utah

in hiking •  7 years ago

In the beginning of March my husband and I flew from Austin to Las Vegas. We rented a car a drove 2.5 hours to Hurricane, Utah. We went to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. I had never seen Bryce in the winter. It was about 25 degrees on our hike. Most of the park was closed but we were still able to hike the Navajo Loop & Queen's Garden trail. It was super slippery and I fell once. Maybe I should have bought some micro spikes for my boots. We met a guy from the UK trying to hike it in his dress shoes. We never found out if he made it. It was a great day!

A nice post about my home state always deserves an upvote! Beautiful

I love Utah! It's our favorite state to visit.

I visited Bryce canyon many years ago with my family, and to this day it remains one of my favorite vacations I ever went on. As an avid outdoorsman, the way nature formed some of the rock formations blew me away. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

This was my second trip. Zion is my favorite out of the two but Bryce is very unique.
