Fonts Point

Fonts Point is a popular overlook above the Borrego badlands in Anza-Borrego State Park, CA. It is about a 4-mile dirt road trip from highway S22 outside Borrego Springs. We took a family weekend trip to explore the desert and made a stop here. The road doesn't require 4x4 and we saw several sedans that made the trip safely.

I love desert landscapes. There is so much starkness and space in them. The texture in those mountains is stunning. Fantastic images.

Yeah, I love the desert, too. Not everyone appreciates it. The badlands are harsh even for deserts.
