Political Foul Play

In the political world this week, the Democratic National Convention takes the spotlight. Along with the convention, the Dems are getting some unwelcome attention thanks to yet another email debacle. The player in the cross hairs of public critique right now, Debbie W. S. has been forced to resign, but according to inside sources... Not without a fight. We know already that she has been hired by Hillary due to their long term "Friendship" giving every political commentator good reason to cluck about Hillary's choice.
Bernie said it best when he stated that he was not surprised, but was disappointed. The RNC was also not without its own strife thanks to the sore Texan Ted Cruz, and the whole election process in general has been a circus. Saying the political system is rigged seems like a statement only Captain Obvious would feel the need to make right now. So what is going on in America right now?
Consider this possibility. Consider that the Queen of England does not truly run the Country. And consider that the royal family has not run England a long time now.
Consider that although our President is "elected" by the people (sort of), much like the royal family, the president does not truly run the nation. The President is just a figure head for the nation; like a salesman/woman at trade show to proclaim the benefits of doing business with his/her company. Polished speeches prepared by professional speechwriters and delivered with every gesture measured for maximum effect. The President was never meant to have that much real power. The fathers of our nation set it up this way on purpose. So who is really in charge? Good question.
