The headquarters of the Sirmaur district in Himachal Pradesh, Nahan is located at an altitude of 932 meters above sea level in the Shivalik Ranges of the Himalayas. The city was founded by Raja Karam Prakash a Rajput kind in 1621 and overlooks some majestic green hillocks of the shivaliks. The best times to visit the place is during the winter months when the climate is the most pleasant.
