Baspa valley is also known as Sangla valley.Sangla valley is one of the most beautiful valleys of kinnaur. it starts from karcham (1800mt.) where the baspa river coming from the east joins the satluj.The road for baspa valley branches off from the Hindustan Tibet road at the river junction and after crosses the satluj river over a bridge to reach sangla valley.The last inhabited village of baspa valley is Chitkul(3,435mt.).Chitkul is surrounded by green fields and high mountain peaks,chitkul is like a Fairyland.
