The idea been scratching my head. I was waiting for fam in the streets and I just started rapping it. Started screaming Fentanyl! Fentanyl! Fentanyl! Whoa! It was really crazy. Thing came out of nowhere to assault me like that. Am on the sidewalk screaming like a madman.
Days later am still rapping it. And I don't care who hears me. Something's up. I need beats to bring that drug song to life. It must have made quite the impression on me owing to the amount of literature I have read on it. And no I have never taken it.
Addiction to opioids is hellish. A lot of users wanted some kind of pain relief and ended up opioid addicts. Really sad to see whole communities swallowed by this epidemic. There's a war on drugs but it didn't stop fentanyl from flooding American cities. Go figure, the system failed yet again.
Maybe I could rap from that angle. How the system didn't tackle the root cause of drug addiction. Instead it attacked poor people. Yea I could rap that on a killer beat.
Do it. People often examine from the external appearances and not the internal root causes. Nobody seems to want to rap about it too. Plus, will these kids even listen to it? What's going on with this generation!??
