Pusha T vs. Drake - A History and Analysis of their Beef

Pusha T recently released his album Daytona and on the closing track Infrared he fired shots at everybody's favourite white rapper Drake! This led to Drake releasing Duppy Freestyle which was a full out diss record aimed at Pusha T, which led to Pusha T responding with The Story of Adidon. Drake further accuses Pusha T of fabricating his drug dealer past and compares his career to a faded signiture, he also mentions Virginia Williams, Pusha T's longtime girlfriend who he recently got engaged to and according to Pusha T in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club ''all bets are off'' based on Drake saying her name alone, and he definitely pulled no punches when he released...

First of all, the name Adidon is supposedly what Drake intended to call his rumoured partnership with Adidas, which is a hybrid of Adidas and Adonis. Adonis is apparently the name of Drake's 7-month-old son who he fathered alongside an ex-pornstar. Drake's yet to confirm if this is accurate or not, if it is it's definitely a strange way to introduce your son into the world!

Pusha compares Drake's relationship to Adonis with his own father Graham who abandoned Drake and his mother when he was 5 years old. He also accuses Drake of parading his father around to establish some sort of authentic connection with his black identity given that his mother's white and he's seemingly struggled with the issue in the past.

And to put the nail in the coffin, Pusha T used the picture below as the song's artwork, a picture of Drake in ''blackface'' that he dug up on the net somewhere and that led to Drake releasing a formal explanation of where it originated from and why it even exists. Drake's definitely on the back foot here and I look forward to his response!
