Hey, so How-To Geek, one of the sites I write for needs new freelance writers. Official deets are here: https://www.howtogeek.com/345703/we-are-hiring/
But I'm going to lay out what they're really looking for. HTG is ramping up how much stuff they're writing. Right now, they've got a staff of really good, highly qualified (and expensive) writers. Since we're really good and qualified writers who've been at it for a few years, we tend to turn our noses up at some of the more basic stuff. This is annoying Lowell, the site owner, no end. So he's looking for freelancers to fill in some of the gaps.
This is a really great opportunity if you're a year or two into a freelance career and need a regular client. If you don't have any experience, you probably don't fit the bill. Similarly, if you've got too much experience and can charge a few hundred dollars for an article, you won't fit the bill.
Check out the site, check out the link above, and you can ask me any questions below.
Edit: it’s up to you to negotiate your rate, but it’s deffo above 0.05/word.
