Hi Steemit friends, today's shot's are all from my trip to the beautiful and historical St. Augustine in Florida.
Ripley's Museum in St. Augustine is quite an impressive structure, very fitting to it's surroundings.
St. Augustine is believed to be the oldest city in the United States.
A true hidden gem.

This is Florida's version of El Morro! I was fascinated to say the least! This 17th century Spanish fortress is actually called The Castillo de San Marcos. If you were to look closely, the fortress is made of sea shells!
I took at least a thousand photographs, so these are just a sampling. I am hoping to return to take even better shots. Hopefully, soon.

I have friends who have retired and bought a place there that they are remodeling to use for a winter getaway. Maybe I can get an invitation to visit!
