Manakamana Temple is one of the most popular temples of Nepal.Manakamana is the temple of Durga Bhawani ( Hindu Goddess), an incarnation Of Paravati. This temple situated in Gorkha District of Nepal. The name Manakamana is the combination of two words "Mana" and "Kamana". "Mana" meaning Heart and "Kamana" meaning Wish. It is believed that Goddess Manakamana fulfils the wishes of all those who make the pilgrimage to her shrine to worship her with a pure heart.

This temple is situated at about 1300 meters at a top of a hill surround by a small village community and about 9 km northeast of the town of Mugling and at about 90 km west from Kathmandu and east from Pokhara. This temple is set in a square and looks across a massive sacred magnolia tree and overlooks the Trisuli and Marshyang-di river valleys, and offers breathtaking views of the Manaslu. This temple is explained by a curious Legend.
