No other museums are as beautiful as Ahsan Manzil. It is a historical tourist spot in Dhaka. It is also an attractive Historical sign in Dhaka.

Who made this museum?

Nawab Abdul Goni made the museum in 1872. Construction work started in 1859.

By following the name of Nawab Abdul Goni's son Khaja Ahsanullah, Nawab Abdul Goni set the name of the museum Ahsan Manzil.

Where it is situated ?

It is situated at Kumartoli along with the bank of the river Buriganga in Dhaka,Bangladesh.

The open time of the museum

1. Summer season (April - September ) - (Saturday - Wednesday) Morning 10:30 to Noon 5:30.

2. Winter season (October - March) - (Saturday - Wednesday) Morning 9:30 to Noon 4:30. (Friday) Afternoon 2:30 to Evening 7:30.

3. Thursday is the weekly vacation .

Price of the ticket

1. Adult Bangladeshi people = 5 BDT per person.

2. Non-adult Bangladeshi children = 2 BDT per child.

3. Viewers of SAARC countries = 5 BDT per person.

4. Other countries people = 75 BDT per person.

5. Students can visit the museum free of cost.
