The organic movement began in the 1930s and 1940s as a reaction to the growth of agriculture dependence on synthetic fertilizers. Artificial fertilizers were created in the 18th century, initially with Super phosphate and then derived mass-produced ammonia fertilizer using the Haber-Bosch process developed during World War I. This early fertilizer was cheap, powerful, and easy to transport in bulk. Similar advances occurred in chemical pesticides in the 1940s, which led to a decade called the 'pesticide era

Currently 164 countries have certified organic farming, industrialized countries valued at $ 63.9 billion. In 2000, there were 86 countries with a net worth of $ 15.2 billion. With this growth, opportunities arose for the WORLD farmers, to add value to products and markets are increasingly widespread.
