Check out the 2nd part of our 3-part series on American militias. In this installment Dan and Sam discuss militias after the Civil War and during the extremely violent Reconstruction Era. They discuss the rise of white supremacist groups in the South and the imposition of "Black Codes" which disarmed many African Americans.

They also discuss state militia's role in strike-breaking from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Finally they touch on the current day Constitutional Militia Movement.
