Family Relic

One day in the kindergarten, where my daughter goes, they asked for an assignment. It was necessary to photograph the family relic and make up a story about it, why in your family this thing is kept and passed down from generation to generation.

In our family, a family relic is the military orders and medals of my grandfathers who passed the Great Patriotic War. I did not know any particular details about their exploits in the war, frankly speaking. I just knew that one was at war and has medals, and the second grandfather also fought and was a hero. I was lucky on the Internet and by name, patronymic and surname found on the Internet sites all the information about the awards and exploits of their grandfathers. What was my surprise that both grandfathers were extremely brave and brave people, proved to be real heroes in the war! One of them defended Stalingrad and took Berlin. Another during the battle for one of the cities destroyed many fascists and two captured.

Willy-nilly I compare myself with these fearless warriors and the thought of how timid and helpless I am compared to them comes to mind. I even afraid to cross the road sometimes, I'm afraid to answer the nagging man, trembling with fear at the sight of spiders, and my grandfathers were so fearless that they fought to death! One of them received serious injuries in the battles. He got a splinter in the eye, after which the vision was left only in the survivor, and tore off part of the leg, which later had to be partially amputated.

Here are two grandfathers, two fearless heroes! Have to me at least a little of their courage, their fearlessness and determination, how much then my life could be more dynamic and interesting. Sometimes you are afraid to make even the slightest steps towards your desires, suddenly it will not work, you are afraid to leave the comfort zone, from a warm cozy moor, and it is there - outside the comfort zone and the most interesting things begin that radically change life and make it full, bright and exciting.
