Prithviraj Chauhan of Ajmer and Pratipraj Raj of Delhi was born in Chauhanpur of Sankhamari. His father Raja Someshwar was a very brave and capable person. Prithviraj got proper education under his supervision. Prithviraj's age was low at the time of his father's death, for a while after sitting on his throne in 1177 AD, the state's work continued to see his mother Kasturi Devi. Prithviraj thought of expanding his kingdom at the time, but at that time Shahabuddin Gauri, ruler of Gauri attacked India and destroyed the temple of Somnath
But in this attack Prithviraj Chauhan did not face Gauri because he had returned from defeating the King of Gujarat. Hence, Prithviraj's biggest battle with State expansion was with King Paramal of Jajak Mukti (Bundelkhand). In this, the courage of the Almighty's army of Ala-Uddal is to this day. Prithviraj became the owner on Mahoba The capital of Prithviraj Chauhan was Ajmer and it was spread by the border of the state to Hisar and Sirhind in the northwest and north to Delhi. His Samanta was governor of Govind Raj Delhi.

Once defeated, Shahabuddin Gauri again attacked India. In 1190-91, Prithviraj faced him with some distance from Delhi, and the injured Shahabuddin had to run away from the field but he came again with a large army. Prithviraj's army was defeated in the Second Battle of Tarain in 1192, because Gauri had once again talked about the treaty and attacked it from behind.
