Carcassone Castle and the City inside....

Carcassone is a quaint small French town situated in the South of France near Narbonne, it is built below the fortified walls of a tenth century Castle strategically placed on the crossroads between the Mediterranean and Atlantic Ocean, although the town's original fortification was founded 100 BC, at the time the Romans conquered Gaul. It is one of the most impressive castles and pieces of surviving ancient history you will ever visit.

There is a small city within the walls of the castle, Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves was filmed here,
