Between so many fascinating and at the same time terrifying legends today I bring you a legend that will captivate your attention, long ago, when the supernatural was closer to humanity, in today's City of Quito, there lived an Indian named Cantuña, he committed the folly of signing a solemn commitment to build a church. The deadline was about to end and work was in the middle. With human effort, it was impossible to end so soon, he, too tired, consumed by fever and fear of being humiliated, thought: "There are only 18 hours to finish the term". The dreams of happiness fell apart before the terrible reality. He will soon be locked up in jail for breach of contract. The pride of the Indian devoured him.

And the poor soul of the Indian was already lost. A prayer, the last one full of faith and penance, came out of her lips. Luzbel, he laughed.
At dawn a pale violet began to cover the sky; The sun stretched behind Mount Ichimbia. Slow, tumultuous and consoling the four bells announcing the dawn sounded.
