Umbrella stones or Kudakkallu is a megalithic monument that are found in different places in Kerala. Sakthan Thampuran palace in Thrissur has a collection different types of stones from this age on display. But I am not going to the details of this stone. What disappointed me the most was when I was looking a bit inside the surface of this preserved archaeological piece!

The stone has small holes on the surface, it is a natural formation. These holes are not so deep and I was just looking inside for a picture and there was a wrapper of chocolate kept folded inside this small hole. I don't know who and why they did this. But, that was truly sad.
