EXCALIBUR AND ARTHUR

THE STORY

Excalibur is the name of the sword that is owned by king Arthur, the kings of Britain (1136 CE) the sword that was stuck in the rock by Uther Pendragon died. The sword is really powerful because it is said to split anything including steel, and can only be revoked by "true kings," who will lead Britain to prosperity.

But according to Malory, Excalibur was given to Arthur by Lady of the Lake near Bodmin Moor at the request of Merlin, Arthur's magical counselor. Both statements may be true because they are told his first sword was broken in battle against the king of Pellinore and throw it into the lake. then Lady of the Lake takes a broken sword that is dumped by arthur and fix it, then she returns it to Arthur.

After that arthur began a major invasion against the Saxon invaders and the Roman Empire. Arthur was even said to be his own emperor and began the quest for the Holy Grail. However, at that time one of the most trusted knights of King Arthur, Lancelot, had an affair with Guinevere (Arthur's wife).

THE FALL OF KING ARTHUR
