Some of the earliest banknotes issued by South Africa, known that time as ( Zuid Afrikaansche Republiek )

And that's where the currency code comes from #ZAR.

While these banknotes are plain in design and not as colorful as other countries banknotes, but I still find them to be some of the most interesting banknotes.

thank you for the reply. I'm not a banknote expert, more into coins and older banknotes, this new issue banknotes is a conundrum, if there is a market for them, there will be value, no market / demand, then no value.

I think it would be good for you to speak to more than one collector, specifically to banknote collectors, they will be bale to help you more
