A lesson in gun history

Durning WW2 the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were armed with Guns.
Note: Admiral Yamamoto who initiated the attack on Pearl Harbor had attended Harvard University in 1919 -1921 & had an insider to the Navy platform from 1925 - 28. Most of our Navy was destroyed because our Army had been deprived of funding and was not prepared to defend the country. It was reported when asked why Admiral Yamamoto didn't follow up on the invasion, his reply was that he had lived in the US and knew that almost all households had guns.

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, close to 20 million dissidents, were unable to defend themselves and were murdered, This doesn't include the 30 million "Uncle Joe" starved to death in the Ukraine.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control, From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, were unable to defend themselves, and were murdered.

In 1938 Germany established gun control, and from 1939 to 1945, and hundreds of thousands were unable to defend themselves against the Gestapo and SS and were murdered.

China established gun control in 1935, and from 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents were unable to defend themselves and were murdered.

Guatemala established gun control in 1964, and from 1964 to 1981, over 100,000 Mayan Indians were unable to protect themselves and were murdered.

Cambodia established gun control in 1956, and from 1975 to 1977, 1 to 2 million Cambodian's and educated people were unable to defend themselves and were murdered.

Uganda established gun control in 1970, and from 1971 -1979, over 300,000 Christians were unable to protect themselves and were murdered, the total dead was estimated to be 2 to 3 million people

In the 20th Century because of Gun control over 56 million defenseless people were murdered.

Since Australia adopted gun control, homicides have gone up 3.2 %, assaults up 8.6%, armed robberies have gone up 44%.
In the stat of Victory alone, homicides with firearms have gone up 300%, The sad thing is that all the law-abiding citizens turned in their guns but the criminals still possess theirs.

Australia has also claimed that a dramatic increase in force break-ins and assaults of the Elderly, Austrailian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after a huge monumental effort and expense to successfully getting rid of a society of Guns. The Australian experience and other historical facts prove gun control does not work.
