The history of blues

Blues music is a flow of vocal music and instrumental originating from the city of United States (US). The official blues name was used in 1910

Originally blues music ranging from spiritual music and compliments that emerged from the community of former African slaves in the US.

Blues music continues to blossom the colors of Chicago Blues (Muddy Waters, Koko Taylor), Delta Blues (Robert Lockwood jr), East Cost Blues (John Jackson) and Texas Blues (Mike Morgan & The Crawl).

And figures you should not forget is W.C. Handy was born in 1873 in Alabama. The song, "Memphis Blues," was the first blues to be released commercially in 1912

Then he was remembered for organizing the first remarkable blues performance at Carnegie Hall in 1928

And another one that is often called the mother of blues music Gertrude Pridgett was born in 1886. His family often appear in the show entertainment stage minstrel show, and in the 1900s he made his first appearance on stage.

That's a bit of a short history of blues music and its important figures

It's amazing to think that the blues began in the 1800's. It seems to have influenced so many types of music over the last century. Thank you for this lesson
