The middle age was one of the darkest periods in the history of humanity. In the middle ages they invented some of the worst torture machines that they can imagine and is that when it was about causing suffering or punishing, the ideas appeared immediately, above all, the instruments of torture that were used in their vast majority by The Holy Inquisition.
"the interrogation chair"
This invention spoke to the mute as it was a solid wooden chair and hundreds of sharp nails made the support and seat of this torture chair.

Nails that through a kind of belts that could press the tortured to the chair were nailed in the whole part of the back of the body. For the suffering to be greater was placed under the iron chair burning burning that warm the chair and burned the victim.
The victim should sit totally naked on the chair.
If the inquisitor believed it convenient, he could send the executioner to hit the prisoner, which caused the skewers to enter more depth in the skin or even if the seat was iron send him warm so that the red skewers are better in the skin.
