Construction from the past.

Fishermn`s pier, "Nothjell".

From the time before different types of plastic began to be used for fishing gear. In the past fishnets "not" was fishing nets made of cotton. After they had been in use for a Fev weeks, it was important that they were landed and dried. Cotton is organic material and will start decomposing if not dried and maintained. The fish nets were hung up in the tap building. The size of the construction tells also something about the size of the fishing nets. ThThis pier located in the fjord Lyngen is in good condition and is taken good care of for the future.

In Norway, even such berths seem like a fairy tale.
You have an unusual beauty of the fjords, which is incomparable with anything!
