The shipwreck, Georg Thiele. Remnants from WWII.

In April 1940 Georg Thiele fought In naval battle of Narvik, and had to be beached to allow her crew to abandon ship safely after she had been severely damaged by British fire. The ship, having broken up, is now a popular diving site. (Wikipedia )

Narvik had an important role in the outcome of World War II. If you ask older people about what happened in Narvik during WWII, I'm pretty sure you'll hear a story from that time.

thank you for the post!

Big one 🤔

Yes absolute a big one :)

Amazing, I was going to say do people go scuba dive? The visibility must be fantastic with the cooler waters. I once went on a trip to Vanuatu to dive a shipwreck there, we did a night dive too. Its definitely one of the best experiances of my life.

This is very historic ... The second world war was terrible

Interesting facts, good post! :D

are you not running out soon of places to visit ? ;)
