N. Yaroshenko. Life is Everywhere
Nikolai Alexandrovich Yaroshenko (1846-1898) was born in Poltava a military family. At the age of nine he was sent to Poltava's military school.
In 1863, the young man moved to St. Petersburg and entered the Mikhailovsky artillery school and at the same time became a volunteer at the Academy of fine arts. Until 1892 Yaroshenko was in military service and retired in the rank of major General, but his life's work was art.
The artist's work has an acute social orientation. In 1876 he was admitted as a member of the Association of traveling exhibitions.and elected to the Board.
The painting "Life is Everywhere" shows the prisoners of the prisoners ' wagon, watching the pigeons. The author, choosing such a simple and uncomplicated plot, emphasizes the injustice of real life: how can people with such persons, full of warmth and kindness, be criminals?
Yaroshenko as if stopped moment of bitter life of the simple, but oppressed people imprisoned in the dirty, shabby green carriage where it is dark and damp. Life is everywhere, it's everywhere, it glimmers in a different carriage window through which pours the light of a summer day, but it deprived these poor simple people, trapped behind bars.
Gorgeous piece, thanks for sharing. Very interesting!

Жизнь не справедлива и это художник выразил в своей работе - одним росчерком кисти ( ну это конечно не совсем одним))
