Buddhism is actually not a religion. It's a philosophy. Most of the people miss understood the core of it. (That people includes me also.). Because according to Lord Buddha, if you understand, you will find the"Nibbana". For that you only need to understand "change".
Through out the history, to keep this photography within the people; ancestors, monks and writers made up stories so people would be able to hand over the knowledge from generation to generation.
Sri Lanka is the country where they first wrote the sayings and after the parinibbana.
