Duinhir was born in Ithilien in the middle earth of Tolkien. Duinhir is the lord of the Blackroot Valley. He participated in the battles in Duinhir, Minas Tirith and Pelenor. In these wars, the sons of Duinhir passed away. Duinhir survived these wars. And after the Ring Wars, Duinhir continued to rule the Blackroot Valley.
