Istana ini terletak di jalan Brigadir Jenderal Katamso, kelurahan Sukaraja, kecamatan Medan Maimun, Medan, Sumatera Utara. Sering disebut istana Maimun. Istana Maimun, terkadang disebut juga Istana Putri Hijau, merupakan istana kebesaran Kerajaan Deli. Menurut cerita, kerajaan Deli pernah berperang melawan kerajaan Aceh, dikarenakan lamaran raja Aceh di tolak ketika ingin melamar Putih dari Kerajaan Deli.
