Old post cards of the USSR.

I want to share with you my old postcards with the views of the Crimea. Postcards from 1961-1962. The first depicts the Crimean State Museum (Vorontsov Palace).

The second postcard with views of the coast of the village of Planerskoe.

The third postcard of the pioneer camp "Artek", where the summer was spent by children awarded by the party and the government of the USSR.

They are beautiful! These postcards carry us to the past ...

I buy only postally-used cards from my hometown. The handwritten vignettes on the back are quite beautiful on many and the rppc's for my town are quite rare. I've paid well over $100 for some cards - just one card - because they are so rare. Sometimes it's not just the image - but the story on the back - that contributes value.

Very cool - and bonus for the "here they are!" at the end. Thanks so much for sharing these unique postcards. Really fascinated by the children going to a lovely resort-like area as a reward... would be interested in learning more about that.
