Thaddeus didn’t know the leaders who were participating in American Revolution. He only knew their names. After he reached America, he tried to find a way to make acquaintance of them.
Finally he could be able to become familiarize with Benjamin Franklin, who played a key role in the revolution of America for independence. Thaddeus’s excitement for independence fighting made an impression on Frankline. Later, Thaddeus was recruited in the United States War Department by Washington.
The leaders of the American Revolution happily included Thaddeus in their struggle for making their country independent as they knew that he could help them immensely in creating a new nation, which will be free from the control of Great Britain.
