Tunis
Capital of Tunisia
Tunis is the most populated city and the capital of Tunisia. It is also the capital of the governorate of the same name since its creation in 1956.

Bab Souika (1963)

Bab Souika, is one of the iconic gates of the medina of Tunis. It is between the Bab el Khadra and Bab Saadoun gates, near the Alfaouine district. His name Bab Souika means Little Souk Gate. Each Bab of the Medina recalls a certain period in the history of the city of Tunis. Established in honor of Sidi Mehrez, it was a very important gate that originally commanded access to the roads of Bizerte, Beja and Kef, a function later devolved to Bab Saadoun.
