A glimpse of Morocco's history lies in North-West Africa, morocco has historically resisted the external invasion as it was a meeting point for European, Eastern and African civilizations, early Amazigh or Berber state residence, then during Roman rule the Population converted to Christianity or Judaism, and in the late 7th century AD Muslim Arabs came from the East and gradually absorbed Amazigh's, and in the 12th and 13th centuries Sunni Islam triumphed over other sectarian tendencies,[1] and in the Middle Ages the Spanish colonized Moroccan Christians, in the 16th century, the Ottomans from Algeria tried to add Morocco to their empire but were frustrated, making Morocco the only Arab country not under Ottoman rule, and in 1578 Morocco won the Battle of the Three Kings, putting an end to European raids on Moroccan territory for three centuries, and in the 17th century the Sharif dynasty took power, and Morocco's cultural and political identity as An Islamic monarchy was established by the late 17th century. [2] The Berber dynasty originated in a Berber empire in 1056 during the 1956.
