Lucknow is known as the town of Nabobon, which is the capital of Uttar Pradesh and is situated on the banks of river Gomti. The history of this city is from the period of the Suryavanshi dynasty. Lucknow was founded by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula, he presented it as the capital of the Nawabs of Oudh. In fact, the Nawabs have provided this city with a polite culture, besides a fantastic culinary style, which is famous all over the world at the present time.

Even after unprecedented development and modernization in this city, its ancient charm and glory are retained here. If you walk along the road and talk to someone, then the glimpse of Lakhnavi Tahasib will be clearly visible. Keeping the growing population in mind, hawlies (houses) have been converted into apartments but people still have love and affection.

In the era of the Nawabs, this city was promoted with great tahajib and samais as well as dishwashers and dishes that gave water to the mouth. Literature, music, dance and art and crafts were also peak during that period. In fact, Lucknow is the city where many musical instruments such as sitar, table and dance are born Kuthak etc. Over time, the British became domineering after the Mughal rulers at Lucknow, and you can easily see the glimpse of the imperial rule in the buildings and monuments here.

There is a lot to see and do in Lucknow. One of the most important tourist destinations of this city is the Imambara and the labyrinth, which is a huge impressive grave complex and an interesting museum built in 1783. The entire ticket taken for this monument is also valid for small Imambara , Husseinabad Clock Tower and Picture Gallery. Apart from this, also go to the Memorial Museum in Lucknow Residency and Raj era in the Lucknow , where the first battle was fought for the freedom struggle in 1857. While the bloody history is immortal here, the residency area here looks like a beautiful paradise away from heat, dust and city noise.

There is a lot of greenery in Lucknow. Lucknow's zoo, the botanical garden (botanical gardens) and Buddha Park, the natural shade of the Kukral forest reserve (the Kumarkale jungle) and the Sinkar Bagh, make Lucknow special and beautiful enough.

There are many impressive monuments and buildings in Lucknow which are proof of the magnificent architecture of Awadh. The Kaiserbagh Palace , Talukdar Hall , Shah Nazaf Imambara , Begum Hazrat Mahal Park and Rumi Darwaza , The Gateway of Lucknow are one of the most influential architectural structures of India. It would be necessary to mention here that the Jama Masjid was built in 1423 by Sultan Ahmed Shah. This entire mosque is made of yellow sandstone, which is known for its attractive design and complex style of architecture, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosques in India.

Apart from this, many other attractions in Lucknow are also worth visiting such as: Main Ghat and Dahas Ghat. Located on the banks of the Das River, this jetty always attracts tourists for a campsite site.
