Europe is having a refugee crisis as well as a cultural guilt crisis. Like all places, Europe does not have an unblemished track record. Europe has however spread philosophy, modern medicine, industrialization, and democracy throughout the world. These ideas are worth preserving. I am not by any means against immigration. I am however strongly against people not fighting for the qualities and values that have made Europe such a beacon of freedom and opportunity for thousands of years.
