I wonder at what point we started using money/medium of exchange:

Homo sapiens?
Homo erectus?
Homo ergaster?
Homo habilis?

Could be as far back as Australpithecus!!!

We'll never know. Crazy how money and medium of exchange predated large governments even.

Meanwhile all of history has shown that medium of exchange came about through spontaneous order long before politicians and bureaucrats and authoritarians.
