Jungian Psychology and Parapsychology itself. I would like to draw your attention today to a more interesting point: the precise knowledge of the ancient Mexikas on the human bioenergetic field, as I have seen, hundreds of years BEFORE it was even suggested by Traditional Chinese Medicine. The first deduction of this is of inestimable value: it would be a certainty more than the Ancestral Knowledge of the subtle planes is not, among the inhabitants of the remote Ixachitlán ("America", in Nahuatl language) information imported from the East but, quite possibly , exported there. Kinam, Toltec Yoga In this discipline, we seek to achieve Senteotl, which is nothing other than Cosmic Consciousness. That is, if they are related to oriental thought, the Samadhi.
The "Kiname" (practitioner) will do it by working his Feathered Serpent, which is nothing other than the symbol or metaphor of the ascension process of the soul. To do so, it is based on a series of steps, which are understood as an Energetic Hygiene, and which consists of:
1. Recapitulation of dreams every morning upon awakening, performed without interpretation, only observation. We can do it mentally or in writing.
2. Practice physical exercises. The Toltecs affirmed that each day has a particular energy, positive or negative, that we can accentuate or neutralize by the appropriate technique. In Kinam the practice of the postures of the Tonal or calendrical day, based on the Sacred Calendar of Anahuac, is promoted.
3. Meditation, carried out after the previous exercise. It consists of collecting the senses, making mental silence and, if possible, surrendering to ecstasy.
4. Recapitulation of what we did during the vigil, performed before bedtime in the night without interpretation, only observation. It can be done mentally or in writing (the Kinam student is advised to keep a diary of his dreams and vigils, as this will help him to materialize the next step).
First Step, Toltekayotl, learning Second step, Nawatilli, norms, is the leap from curiosity to commitment. This step is also divided into two stages. The first is the general commitment; the Toltec books summarized it in three very simple principles:
1. Topiltsin sentlasotla, to love the divine.
2. Kateikniu'tlani, have peace with humans.
3. I love Keketsa, not killing or wasting time. Then, the specific commitment to your Master. To love the divine has nothing to do with passing to: The third step, Teochiwa, divinization.
The fourth step is called Chipawa, transparency; its object is that we cleanse ourselves physically, psychically and emotionally, until we become like a transparent glass that lets the light of the Sun pass without distortion. Toltec chakras Within that field there are a series of organs called Kuekueyo, luminous spirals, which work as energy transformers, storing experiences and modifying perception. Of them affirms a mexica codex: "With our Kuekueyo (s) we illuminate to the world. In the place where our lamps are, there we have light. "(Codice Matritense) Some of these centers are activated
1. Kolotl, "scorpion", at the base of the spine. It is the seat of sexual, reproductive and survival instincts. It is active at birth and reaches its full functioning in adolescence.
2. Iwitl, "down", in the belly. It is the seat of the filial and patriotic feelings, and the impulses of socialization and communication. It activates naturally before adulthood.
3. Pantli, "flag", in the navel. It is the seat of the ego and the impulses of representation, competitiveness and domination. It activates taking on the challenges and facing the difficulties.*
4. Xhochitl, "flower", in the heart. It is the seat of emotions, artistic sensitivity and altruistic impulses. It activates enriching and ennobled the experiences.*
5. Topilli, "cane", in the throat. It is the seat of the will. It activates making decisions and facing the consequences.
6. Chalchiwitl, "precious stone", on the forehead. It is the seat of intuition; its minimum operation is reason. It is activated through study, meditation, reverie and recapitulation.
7. Tekpatl, "knife", on the crown. This center synthesizes the activity of others, connecting the individual energy with the cosmic. In it lies the impulse of transcendence that characterizes us as humans. It is activated as the other centers do.
The centers form a network that organizes our magnetic field.
The fifth step, Theomania, meditation, is related to intuition, that mysterious faculty that in everyday life we usually have atrophied. Meditation was a very common practice in ancient Mexico, as is clear from the profusion of meditative images in art. Its object is to reach the state of ecstasy. In the Kinam Method, meditation is divided into four steps, which are:
1 Mana, arrangement.
2 Senmati, concentration
3 Theomania, meditation.
4 Teowatia, ecstasy
Observation, a very simple exercise that consists of three parts:
a) We calmly observe what happens around us, without making judgments or comparisons.
b) Once we are set, we choose an element of the environment, such as a leaf or fruit of a tree, a mark on the wall or ground, a cloud, etcetera, and we stare at it, trying not to blink.
c) After a few minutes of forcing the focus, we do the opposite: we keep our eyes on the chosen object, but attending to what is in the periphery. The peripheral gaze is of great value for educating perception.Eidetic Imagination. Surely we have noticed that, when squeezing the eyeballs, appears a series of colors and geometric forms. The order in which they appear is not accidental, it responds to our energetic state and is one of the indicators that the shaman doctor uses to analyze his patient. There are certain natural associations of color and form that we can use as reasons for concentration; the basic ones are the following: - A red triangle with the tip upwards induces a state of vigor. - A white circle induces analysis and observation. - A black crescent gives us fluidity and a mystical feeling. - A yellow square makes us feel serene, safe and solid. The sixth step, Nawallotl, nagualism, aims to project our being of dreams, called "double" or "nagual". ...

After reading this you see the wisdom of the people that came before us. Some of these things like meditation and exercise are things that we know now from science that put us in a different state of being. It just funny that science sometimes tells us things that people have already know for thousands of years. We have a tendency to think because we call it science that they called it something else that what we are doing is some how superior, but it is really not.
Even the exercise in visual concentration at the end are exercises that people perform today to improve their vision. This is amazing!
