Wrongly accused again! The Pinkertons intercepted their mails and knew where Butch and Sundance were. Why didn't they arrest them? Was it so that they themselves could rob a bank and pin it on them?

Howdy sir Vincent! you know what? I never thought of that until someone else tonight suggested it! And that could have happened. I think they didn't arrest them because it would have taken a lot of men to be sent all the way down there and it would have cost a fortune, I will talk about that in the next post but they didn't have the funds.
Plus, the Pinkertons were not a governmental or even an official law enforcement agency so I don't know how other governments would take that.
