The tomb of "Batee Balee" is one of the historical heritage of Aceh, during the kingdom of Samudera Pasai.

"Batee Balee" is the third descendant of King Malikkussaleh's reign. And located on Jalan Blang Mee, Gampong Meucat, Samudera Subdistrict, North Aceh Regency.

Tomb "Batee Balee" was estimated 900 years ago. During this time, this funeral complex became a tourist attraction, but the eating conditions are increasingly eroded by time without concern from the Provincial Government of Aceh.

"Batee Balee" originally named Sultan Mahmutsyah. He led in the Pasai Ocean in the 13th century, however, he died while fighting with Mojopahit troops.

In the cemetery complex complex "Batee Balee", consisting of 120 tombs yag located at two points adjacent. And was also buried various tribes such as, China, Indies and Aceh. The tribes are people who fled to the plains of Aceh at that time. And then in coaching by the leader of Samudera Pasai Kingdom, to embrace Islam.

In his lifetime, the Sultan-sultans buried in the cemetery complex printed the Dirham's currency, with their names sprouted each. In fact most of the currency dirhams have been found by the surrounding community in the royal territory of the Samudra Pasai.

• Abu Zaid Ahmad (wafat 870 H/1466 M)
• Mu’izzuddunya Waddin Ahmad (wafat 870 H/1466 M)
• Muhammad Syah, (wafat 900 H/1495 M)
• Al Kamil bin manshur (wafat 900 H/1495 M)
• Abdullah bin Manshur (wafat 911 H/1506 M)
• Muhammad Syah III (wafat 912 H/1507 M)
• Abdullah bin Mahmud (Wafat 914 H /1509 M),
• Sultan Zainal Abidin IV (wafat 923 H/1517 M).

The Cultural Society of Aceh History , Husaini said, "Batee Bale". Beginning from the period of Sultan Malik Al-Saleh or Meurah Silu and then led by Ratu Naritsyah to become a growing Islamic civilization and famous in the world.

Currently the reserve is only history. Because the legacy inscriptions such as many tombstones have been lost and taken by the surrounding community to serve as a stone householder and stone sharpener.

Each of the carvings on the tombstone contains a history of civilization and Islamic history, such as poems and verses of Quran such as Yasin and Chairs.

When missing a line or number of writing and verses from the tombstone, then the same loss of a history of the Islamic Kingdom in Aceh and will fade for future generations.
