Jhandi is an offbeat location about two hour from Kalimpong and about two hours from Siliguri. Road from Kalimpong is rough, but the views are scenic. The eco huts offer the best location.

However, in india the Jhandi eco huts run on its view and it's extremely hardworking staff. but the place is clearly understaffed. Also, the management isn't doing much (read-spending money!!) for the upkeep of the place.
